This is officially my 500th post.
From a girl who can't fill up an actual journal to save her life, this is quite a feat! When Ryen was a baby, I created a website so that her biological family could stay updated about the goings on at the House of Hastings. When blogging started to catch on, I gave it a try and loved how much easier it was than maintaining a website. I chucked my first blog on typepad and created this one- which has since turned into our family journal. But, unlike any other journal I have tried to keep, this one actually gets written in! That is in large part due to the comments and encouragement left by you, my loyal readers. ...Both of you. :) To show my appreciation, I am giving away a classic Shutterfly photo book. Yaaay! Just comment on this post and I will throw your name in the hat. And, as an added bonus for my true blue commenting comrades, I will also throw in the names of everyone who commented on the post before this- so you lucky ducks could be entered twice.     500 is awesome! i started in August so I got a long way to go for 500... 464 to be exact! I love the color schemes your always on to. (500 sign, borders around pictures... you know) you're so creative.

    I'm so glad you started blogging. You are what got ME to do it, and I don't think I'd make it if I didn't get to see your cute pictures and witty commentary on a frequent basis. Congrats on keeping it up for 500 posts. I hope you have 500 more in you! Love you so much, Meg!

    I only want the Shutterfly book if it includes pictures of your family. Two reasons:

    1. Your pictures are professional and lovely.

    2. You have one cutie-patootie family.

    Congratulations on 500 posts! I have always loved your blog. Thanks for keeping it up, so I can feel like we don't live 9 million miles apart.

    I feel bad for not saying more and just threatening you. ha. I'm so thankful for your blog. It lets me into a world I long to see on a daily basis and I am so thankful for that. You inspore me to be a better mother and wife. I'm proud of you and your 500 posts! Work it girl. p.s. I really miss you lately. Really, more than usual.

    I just wanted to comment that you're awesome for doing 500 posts! I agree that blogging is much easier than writing in a journal and much more fun. Your layouts are fantastic and you are one of the most creative people I know! I always find myself wanting to be just like Megan :)
