This year we let Ryen and Maddie decorate the tree all by themselves. Sonny did the lights and then the girls took over. They asked me to place a few ornaments up high so I put them just where they pointed. There is a serious clump of ornaments on our tree and it looks like they wadded up the garland and threw it into the branches. I'm pretty sure it never occurred to them to decorate the sides or back of the tree. Still, I have made a concious decision to not change a single thing. Madelyn and Ry are so proud of themselves. I know that someday in the future I will miss Christmas trees like this.

ReplyDeleteI LOVE this tree! I love that all the decorations are clumped at the bottom. You can definitely tell that this was decorated by children and I wouldn't change a single thing. Beautiful.
