I love this picture of Ryen. It sums up what we did this weekend to celebrate her 6th birthday. We let her choose again this year whether she wanted a big party or a vacation to celebrate her birthday and, once again, she chose a vacation. We asked her where she wanted to go and she chose the mountains so we could take her back to Tweetsie Railroad. In fact, we recreated her birthday from last year almost exactly. We stayed at the same hotel, ate at the same restaurants, and even got carsick on the same winding mountain road. (Though the trip itself was SO much more enjoyable for me not being pregnant!!!) Ryen couldn't have been more happy. Her eyes were filled with joy and her smile was like a second sun the entire weekend. I don't think her feet ever touched the ground. :) Everywhere we went, her lion, a birthday gift from Madelyn, came too.
*I think I fixed Picasa! You know what that means... TONS of pictures coming! :)
That is a serious birthday celebration. I am so glad that her weekend was so magical!
