The Blue Chair

I've always loved portraits using furniture outdoors. While Sonny was away at a business conference this week, I dragged my baby bargain hunters to several thrift stores. Besides the purchases I already mentioned, I've been watching for the perfect chair to lug outdoors for some portraits. I found it! An old blue chair whose unknown history scares me slightly, but is wonderfully perfect for pictures! In the past few days it has been dragged to the park and to Lake Michigan. It has seated my three girlies, Caity's kiddos, and the Drew Tracy family...plus their dog. This chair has been busy...and it has been rocking my world! I am such a nerd, I know. We got some reallllllly strange looks lugging that sucker out onto the beach. I love the way the photos turned out though. (I'll post them soon!) Best 15$ I ever spent. :)
