My poor, sweet girls are so sick and miserable! They have the flu- worse than anything I have seen in a long time. They're trying so hard to be brave, but the poor things are just miserable. Ryen has been out of school all week, but seems to be getting a little better. I left them with their lunches on the table for a minute, and when I came back in the room I saw that Ryen had gotten out of her seat and come around the table to comfort Madelyn. She was playing with her hair and trying to sooth her. Just after I took a picture of them, Ry whispered in Madelyn's ear, "You are so brave, little one. It's going to be okay. It's okay." They MELT me.

Ryen is such a good example for Maddie....your girls make the sweetest pair! I love being around them and hope that I get to some time in Feb. if you know what I mean :)
ReplyDeleteOh, they melt my heart too! I love that. I hope they're feeling better though. That is so awful!
ReplyDeleteI am sorry they've been so sick. This flu season stinks. I have always been impressed with Ryen's ability to comfort, what a sweet girl! I think Roz has the same PJ's. I hope they feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable and yes so miserable. They break my heart. I have NEVER seen a more sad face than Ryen's a few days ago. It ain't fun watching your little ones suffer! All that grief and then something sweet comes out of it!
