Princess Premiere

Disney's "Sleeping Beauty" came out yesterday and, of course, I picked it up for the girls. They had never seen it before and were so so so excited. Even without seeing the movie, Ryen has always loved Princess Aurora because she was named Aurora at birth and also because she looks the most like her. According to my girls, matching hair color is vital when choosing a favorite princess. To celebrate the movie, we had our own little premiere where we all dressed up like Princess Aurora (Sonny was the prince, of course) and transformed our family room into a cuddle zone. We had tickets and popcorn and everything. The girls loved the movie, but I think their favorite part was dancing with their prince/daddy when the music video came on at the end of the show.

*Happy birthday to Princess Rozlyn! We were thinking of you, sweet girl!

  2. Perfect! We have had "camp overs" in our t.v. room but never a Princess Premiere or a cuddle zone. We'll have to try it out when we buy the next movie we've been "longing" for. MLP Live - Worlds Biggest Tea Party. I actually had to tell her no - that we had to wait until the next pay check. I guess by age 5 1/2 it's good to hear no every now and then. Not that we'll dress up like My Little Ponies - I hope! Around these parts we will sure get into tickets, and popcorns, I can even imagine someone wanting to make invitations... So yeah, good idea!

  3. Oh Megan. That is so cute. I just laughed out loud. You are so sweet. I wasn't sure if she knew thats what I named her before. I always think of her when I see that movie. Its one of my favorites. (thats not why I named her that but that would've been cool) ha Your household is full of love and fun and beautiful little girls. I love you!
