We just recently realized that with our upcoming travel plans, we will be with family relatively close to Ryen's birthday. We are SO excited by the opportunity to have a birthday party with family there to celebrate with us!!! That has been one of the things we've missed the most living so far away from everyone. Ryen has requested a pirate theme this year- which is no surprise. She loves to make-believe she is a pirate! It will be tricky to throw a party when we fly in from Hawaii the night before, but I'm going to try to have everything arranged ahead of time so we can keep things really easy. I've scheduled a bouncer/slide that Ryen is beyond excited about, so I'm hoping that will be enough entertainment. We'll get a pinata and maybe play a game or two, but I'm thinking that inflatable thing will keep us covered. I wish I had time to make a cake myself, but I have to be realistic about what I can and can't pull off. I have so much fun planning parties- especially things like this for the kids. Hopefully, this will be a great party for our little plunderer.
