Murray Lake Mermaids

I love kayaking. So much. I love going by myself because it is so peaceful and meditative, but I almost never get to go alone. I'm okay with that though. In fact, I treasure taking each of my girls on "kayak dates" to the lake near our home. It's such an incredible opportunity to share some of the things I love most with them. The water, the birds and fish and turtles, the sunset over the lake, the sounds and smells of nature at it's purest and most peaceful. I hope they will remember always our time together on the lake, talking about the things we see and the things that can only be felt. Seeing each of my girls light up as I teach them to row and let them drift away from me and then come back with so much excitement and confidence is such a beautiful experience. I'm so proud of my darling mermaids and grateful for each of our sacred adventures.
