The cottage has been such a big part of our lives. Going for walks in the woods and meadows and along the beach, swimming like fish every second we can spare, sunsets over Lake Michigan, s'mores over our backyard campfire, catching fireflies, watching the deer in the meadow across the street, estate sales every weekend, biking to the beach, collecting stones, donuts the size of your head... All things we will miss tremendously, but I am so grateful that these memories have been woven into our family story.
