Madelyn is a star.

It is hard to put into words how proud of Madelyn we were when she decided to overcome her fears and her insecurities to try out for the school talent show.  Lots of kids auditioned, but only a handful made it and our sweet Madelyn made the cut with flying colors.  She sang When You're Alone from the movie "Hook."  She sounded like an angel and mesmerized the entire audience.  It was so beautiful!  The best, though, was that she went from being the shyest girl at her school to standing in front of her entire school (and lots of visitors) to sing.  I hope she always has the courage to sing her song.
