Two weeks ago today, Ryen lost her front tooth during Sunday School. She came running into our classroom beaming and holding that tooth out for all the world to see. (Her teacher was thoroughly grossed out, but Ry was way too excited notice.) That thing had been dangling for a lifetime! Ry insists it was her "sweet tooth" but judging by the Easter candy she's been munching on today, I think she's safe. :)
The tooth fairy came that night and left her a dollar along with a tooth fairy medallion. Front teeth are very special, you know. :) The next day, it was her turn to take a "mystery item" to school for the rest of her class to guess and she brought in her tooth in a plastic bag. We don't really know, but we think it may now reside in the school music room. Sweet!
Yay! I'm sure her love of sweets will go on for a lifetime no matter how many teeth she loses. She takes after her Grammy, for sure. (: LOve you!
