Dear Sonny,

While you were in Arizona doing this:
we were here doing this:
The girls each picked out their own fleece and helped me make 9 blankets for needy children.
...And then I transformed our bookshelves like this:
and also started this project:

...which is going to knock your socks off. Just wait!
So, while you were playing with the fam and having a blast, we were here...working.
I'm glad you're home.
...or am I?

Haaaaahahahahahaha!

But seriously you look gorgeous in that photo. He'd drop Bella for you in a sec. And will you come organize my bookshelf? I've only got one but it is completely stumping me with what to do and yours look ever so nice!

  3. Ha! I can throw Blue Steel around as good as anyone. :)

Carrie, I still don't think I have organized everything very well, but it's a work in progress. The real thing I was trying to show (but you can't see it unless you click on the photo for a bigger version) is the paper I put on the back wall of the shelves to make them "pop" a bit. I loooove it! You could use anything you want, but I used plain old wrapping paper from Target.

  5. Wait a minute! I was at your FB page getting ready to post on your wall and noticed that your friend Lindsey said the same phrase (oh how I love thee). Yes, I just said the same thing to you but I didn't SEE that she did too! No, I'm not a copy cat! Seriously!

Ok, now that I've gotten that out (seriously, I didn't see that she had said the same thing!), I was going to mention that I saw the cute soda crate you have on your shelf and I am getting rid of one myself and wondered if you would like it. The only potentially negative thing about it, is that it's an old Pepsi box. Bad caffeine box. haha.

I still love it, but I haven't used it as a decorating element in many years and now it's time for it to move on to a new home. Let me know if you would want it. If not, no biggie. I'm sure I can find it another home. :)
