We saw our first official flurries today. It was nothing impressive. In fact, I'm pretty sure nobody else even noticed them. But we did! I keep trying to prepare the girls for the extreme winter weather, but can anything really prepare one for that kind of thing? I worked on our outdoor Christmas decorations with Sonny tonight and thought I was going to freeze to death! I brought Ally outside just long enough to snap the above photo because she looked so darling in her little sweater and hat. :) After I took the picture, I rushed her in the house and snuggled with her for a bit just to make sure she didn't have pneumonia! It's going to be a lonnnng winter for this family, folks. Brrrrr!
Oh Meg. If you think today was cold, you really are going to be in for it! They'll get used to it!

ReplyDeletei know that everyone thinks it would be so kool to be in hawaii for christmas but i just miss the snow SO much! I miss the cute sweaters and scarfs that can even be worn in California! No scarfs for Hawaii =/ Keep posting the cold pics and cute girly sweaters....I LOVE IT!!!
