Ryen's 2nd 1st Day

Sonny took Ryen to visit her new school last week and the principal took her on a tour of the school and to the classroom she would be going to. Ryen was a little nervous, but when her principal introduced her to the class and asked who would like to be Ryen's friend and she saw the whole class (and the teacher) raise their hands, she was elated. She couldn't wait to start school the following Monday. We took her in early and had to literally force her not to run to her classroom. I took her to the store beforehand so she could choose a treat to bring for her first day and she chose cupcakes arranged like a rainbow. I thought it would be fun for her and she was so excited about that. She had a wonderful day and seems to really have her spark back where school is concerned- which is soooo wonderful! It is an amaaaazing school and she has been so happy there. Her teacher is a total sweetheart as is everyone we have met there so far. We feel so blessed. Yaaay for good schools!
